Thomas C. Orsini, M.D. Dr Orsini joined RMG in January, 2002, having served for the prior three years as the primary radiologist at the newest RMG site in San Clemente, formerly known as Oceanview Radiology. A native of New York City, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Georgetown University in 1980. Although invited to compete for the 1979 Rhodes Scholarship

competition, he instead chose to attend New York University School of Medicine the following year. After graduation in 1984, Dr. Orsini took six months off prior to beginning his medical internship to compete in the Hawaiian Ironman competition in October, 1984.

His residency in diagnostic radiology was at the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Since residency, Dr. Orsini has maintained a special interest in oncologic imaging as well as the radiology of sports medicine and orthopedics.
